Role: Director/Facilitator

Ocean Stories is a new theatrical dance show about our relationship with and impact on the ocean. We hope to raise consciousness and inspire individual/collective action to slow climate change, preserve our oceans and promote earth-friendly practices.

The show emerged from a creative lab I ran in Mystic, CT. It was very much an experiment, the first lab I'd run, but the show that resulted from that exploration was complete enough that I began running additional creative labs about the same topic. With every location the story and content changed to reflect the location and participants.

The show is designed to be portable and customizable to the location.

I'm looking for potential partners, grants, venues, festivals and collaborators to further develop this show.

  • Marine biologists, scientists, divers

  • Writers, poets

  • Musicians and singers

  • Artists, video projection, set, costume design

Book the show

Ocean Stories is packaged with a 3-4 day creative lab intensive so all participants are active in the creation of the content and the event culminates in a performance featured all participants and the fully developed show that they created. It's a powerful experience and a wonderful introduction to the creative lab process, which can be replicated by all of the participants to create their own shows.

I'm actively seeking sponsors to host this life-changing experience in more cities. If you're interested, or simply have questions, please reach out.
